Every figure below is our own. It was quoted from the print network we actually use, for one specific product - an 8 inch square, 28-page hardcover - on the date shown. Nothing here is an industry average, an estimate, or a number borrowed from anyone else. Quote any of it.
The delivery clock starts when the buyer approves the draft, not when they pay
A personalised book is not picked off a shelf. It is drawn, the buyer looks at it, and the printer only starts once they have said yes. Every window on this page is measured from that approval. Pay on the 12th, approve on the 18th, and the delivery estimate began on the 18th - which is how an order placed with a fortnight to spare arrives after the birthday.

What the numbers show
- The floor is 6 days and the ceiling is 9. Fastest: United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, Denmark. Slowest: United States, Ireland, Australia, Canada. Both measured from approval, both including production.
- 6 of 12 markets are printed in the buyer's own country, which is what removes customs and import charges - not the carrier, and not the price paid.
- Money does not close the gap between print regions. United Kingdom floors at 6 days and United States at 9, a 3-day difference between two markets that both print locally. That is throughput in the print network, not a service level you can upgrade.
- 94 titles in the catalogue as of 2026-09-06.
What this data does not say
- These are our own quoted lead times from one print network, for one product: an 8x8 inch, 28-page hardcover. They are not an industry average and we have not measured anyone else.
- A quoted window is what the carrier and printer committed to on the date shown. It is not a guarantee, and it is not a measurement of what actually arrived.
- Windows run from approval. Any comparison against a shop that measures from payment is not like for like, which is the whole point of the finding above.
