Books for more than one child
One book each, not two children in one book. That is a deliberate choice, and this is the reason for it.
It is the question people ask most often about personalized books, usually like this: "All the books I have seen only have room for one name." Our answer is that each book has one hero. Not because a second child cannot be drawn - we have tested that, and it works - but because a book about everyone is a book about no one in particular.

Three or more ordered together are 5% off, applied at checkout, no code. Two are full price and ship in one parcel.

Printed formats are plus shipping, quoted live for your address before you pay - one parcel however many books. Three hardcovers are $40.76 each instead of $42.90.
Making the second one is quick
Make the first book as normal. At the end, choose Make one for another child - the occasion, who it is from, the art style and the story all carry over, so the second child needs only their name, age and photo. And once a child has been drawn, any later book for them needs no photo at all: we keep the illustrated portrait and delete the photograph. What happens to the photo
Common questions
- Can two children share one book?
- Each book has one hero, and twins get a book each - so each book is unambiguously theirs, with their name on the cover and their face on every page. That is a choice about whose story it is, not a technical limit: we have tested illustrations holding two, three and four people and the likeness holds. Books where a whole family appears together are coming.
- Is there a discount for more than one?
- From three books, yes: three or more ordered together are 5% off, applied automatically at checkout - no code. Two books are full price, $85.80 for two hardcovers, but they are made together and ship in one parcel. Ordering for a whole class or kindergarten is priced separately and starts at five children.
- Do I have to upload a photo for each child?
- One photo per child, once. After a child has been drawn we keep only the illustrated portrait and delete the photograph, so any later book for that same child needs no upload at all - you pick them from a list.
- Can my twins have the same story?
- Yes. Choose the story once and it carries to the next child, so twins can have matching books with each of them as the hero of their own. You can also pick a different story for each, which is what most people do when there is an age gap.
- What about a big brother or big sister book for a new baby?
- That is one of the commonest reasons people order. The story marks the child becoming an older sibling, with them as the hero of it - the new baby is present in the story without being a second illustrated character.
- Can I ship them to different addresses?
- Not in a single order. Books ordered together ship together, so for grandchildren in different houses place one order per address - the bundle discount applies per order.
