A peek inside

How the adventure unfolds

These are just sample lines. Your book is written fresh for your child - their name woven through every page, with the words, sentence length and tone tuned to their age, and shaped by the story, interests and details you choose.

Monday: a tooth being tested with one finger, barely moving, in a bathroom mirror.
Chapter One

Monday: A Small Wobble

On Monday it wobbled the tiniest bit, and your child checked it roughly four hundred times before lunch.

Monday: a tooth being tested with one finger, barely moving, in a bathroom mirror.

Thursday: the same tooth at an alarming angle, with an expression to match.
Chapter Two

Thursday: Nearly

By Thursday it was hanging on by almost nothing, and eating an apple had become a serious event.

Thursday: the same tooth at an alarming angle, with an expression to match.

Friday: a gap, photographed at close range, and the tooth held up beside it.
Chapter Three

Friday: Gone

On Friday it simply was not there any more, and the gap felt enormous and completely brilliant.

Friday: a gap, photographed at close range, and the tooth held up beside it.

These three sample the opening, middle and ending of a 12-chapter book. All twelve are drawn with your child in them when the book is made: the cover and chapter one free in your preview, the remaining eleven once you order.

Is this the one?

Who the Wobbliest Week is for

The Wobbliest Week stretches one small event over five days, which is exactly how it feels to the child it is happening to. Monday it wobbles, Thursday it nearly goes, Friday it is gone. Bought mid-wobble, read daily, and finished at roughly the same time as the tooth.

Four to eight, and specifically for the week itself. It is a day-by-day structure, so it rewards being read repeatedly rather than once. A child who has already lost several teeth will find it dull. Reading level chosen at setup keeps each day short enough for a bedtime.

For Roee, who reported on it hourly for six days and would not let anybody help.
Every book opens on a dedication page. You write your own - this is one that suits this story.

Common questions

What age is The Wobbliest Week for?

The Wobbliest Week is written for ages 4-8. The story is generated at the reading level you pick during setup, so the same book works at the younger or older end of that range.

How is The Wobbliest Week personalized?

You upload one photo of your child. That photo becomes the illustrated hero - same face shape, hair and skin tone - and stays recognizable across all 12 chapters. Their name, age and a dedication are woven in too.

How long is the book, and what formats are there?

Twelve illustrated chapters, one full-page illustration per chapter. Digital is $14.90, softcover $38.90 and hardcover $42.90 plus shipping; the hardcover is a 8x8 inch matt-laminated keepsake.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. The cover and the whole first chapter - artwork included - are generated free. You only pay if you want the remaining eleven chapters.
