Your child sets out to say thank you to the whole wide world.
Personalised Mothering Sunday gifts, starring her child
A Mothering Sunday gift that is really about the two of them: a storybook in which her child is the hero, illustrated from a photograph, for her to read together at bedtime.
Flowers last a week. A book in which her own child is the hero, drawn from a photograph she recognises, is something she will still have on the shelf when they are grown - and something they will ask her to read again that same night. It works whether you are the other parent organising it, or the child old enough to want a gift of their own to give.

When is Mothering Sunday?
Mothering Sunday falls on the fourth Sunday of Lent - three weeks before Easter - so the date moves every year. It is 7 March in 2027 and 26 March in 2028. That is roughly nine weeks before the American Mother's Day in May, which matters: if you are following an American gift guide you are already very late.
How long do I need to allow for a printed book?
Six days to a UK address from the moment you approve your book, and nine to fourteen to Ireland. Order-by dates for every occasion are on our delivery page. The digital edition is instant, so it never misses the date.
Is it personalised or personalized?
Both spellings mean the same thing - "personalised" is the British and Irish spelling and "personalized" the American one. You are in the right place either way.
