Is this the one?

Who Underwater Adventure is for

Underwater Adventure is written for the week a child is learning not to mind water on their face. The dive happens early and easily, nothing under the surface is dangerous, and the whale in the last chapter sings rather than looms. Swimming teachers are the reason this one gets bought: it gives a nervous child a picture of being under water that is calm.

Two to six. At two it is fish and colour. At five the whale song works as an ending a child can hold on to, and some children ask for it before a lesson. The reading level you set controls sentence length, which is worth keeping short if the book is doing a job at bedtime.

For Noa, who held her breath for the first time and came up laughing.

Common questions

What age is Underwater Adventure for?

Underwater Adventure is written for ages 2-6. The story is generated at the reading level you pick during setup, so the same book works at the younger or older end of that range.

How is Underwater Adventure personalized?

You upload one photo of your child. That photo becomes the illustrated hero - same face shape, hair and skin tone - and stays recognizable across all 12 chapters. Their name, age and a dedication are woven in too.

How long is the book, and what formats are there?

Twelve illustrated chapters, one full-page illustration per chapter. Digital is $14.90, softcover $38.90 and hardcover $42.90 plus shipping; the hardcover is a 8x8 inch matt-laminated keepsake.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. The cover and the whole first chapter - artwork included - are generated free. You only pay if you want the remaining eleven chapters.
