Who Pirate Adventure is for

Pirate Adventure works on the child who wants to be in charge of something. Your child is the captain from the first line, with a parrot who answers back and a crew who take instructions. It has been the reliable choice for fifth and sixth birthdays, and it is one of the two or three that most often gets a reluctant reader to the end of a chapter unaided.
