Kindy graduation books, one for every child
A personalised hardcover for each child graduating kindy or prep, every one of them the hero of their own story. One photo link per parent, one parcel to the centre, ready for the Term 4 ceremony.
Kindy graduation is a real ceremony with a real audience, and the thing each child walks off with is usually a certificate in a cardboard tube. This is the version they still have at ten: a hardcover story in which the child graduating is the one who does the brave thing, drawn from a photo their own parent sends.
Order in Term 3 if the ceremony is in Term 4
This is the part worth getting right, because the Australian calendar leaves less room than it looks. Graduation lands in November or early December, photo collection from families realistically takes a fortnight, and printing and international delivery needs a comfortable margin on top.
So the sensible move is to send the parent links six to eight weeks out - late Term 3 or the first fortnight of Term 4. A class started in November will be tight, and we would rather tell you that now than at the end of it.
Who this suits
Kindy and kinder rooms graduating to school, prep classes finishing their first year, and long day care and early learning centres marking the children who are leaving. The minimum order is five children, so a small room is ordinary rather than a special arrangement.
It is also the easiest thing a centre can offer that a family has not already been offered by the centre down the road.
The centre pays, or the families do
You choose before anything is charged. If the centre funds it, the books are a graduation gift from you, and any child whose family never sends a photo is refunded to you when you print the rest.
If families fund it, the centre spends nothing. Each parent buys their own child's book from the link you send, and the single delivery charge is split evenly across the class - the same way most centres already handle photo days.
Prices are charged in US dollars and your card converts: about $39.47 a book for a class of ten and $36.47 for thirty, plus one delivery charge for the whole parcel, quoted to your address before you pay.
What the parents have to do
One photo, from a phone, in under a minute. No account, no app, nothing to download. They open the link you send, see their own child's name and your centre's name, add a photo, tick the consent box and they are finished.
They see nothing about any other family - not the class list, not how many children are in the order.
Photo consent and centre policy
Consent is recorded twice: you confirm at the point of ordering that you have each family's permission to use their child's photograph, and every parent confirms it again on their own upload page before they can send anything.
The photograph is used to draw that child's illustrations and then deleted - never shown to another family, never published anywhere findable. If your centre needs it documented for the policy folder, our photo policy page is the one to print.
Common questions
When should we order for a Term 4 kindy graduation?
Send the parent links six to eight weeks before the ceremony - late Term 3 or the first fortnight of Term 4. Photo collection from families takes about a fortnight and printing plus international delivery needs margin on top of that.
Do you deliver to Australia?
Yes, to the centre in one parcel with a single delivery charge for the whole class, quoted to your address before you pay anything.
Are prices in Australian dollars?
No - everything is charged in US dollars and your card does the conversion. A hardcover works out at about $39.47 US per book for a class of ten and $36.47 at thirty.
What is the minimum for a small kindy room?
5 children. A small room is an ordinary order rather than something we have to make an exception for.
What if a family never sends a photo?
Leave that child out when you send the rest to print and their book is refunded to whoever paid. Your class page shows who is still outstanding so the chasing in the last fortnight is targeted.
