Your child discovers an extraordinary power - and an even bigger heart.
Ages 4-8
Upload one photo and your child is drawn as the hero of a twelve-chapter story, on the cover and every chapter. What happens to the photo, what the book costs, and how to see it free before you pay.
When people search for a personalized children's book with their picture, most want the same thing: a story where the child on every page is recognisably theirs. Our book is made from one photo. The photo is drawn once into an illustrated portrait, and the cover and all twelve chapters are drawn from that portrait, with your child's name in the story. This page explains each step, what happens to the photo afterwards, and what it costs.
The book is a twelve-chapter story with your child as the main character. They are illustrated on the cover and in every chapter, and their name is written into the text. You can add your own dedication.
The photograph itself is not printed anywhere in the book. It is the reference the illustration is drawn from, which is what lets the same face appear in space, in a jungle or in a castle.
Three different products are sold as a book with your child's picture, and the guide to telling them apart shows which one this is before you compare prices. Take a look
First, you upload one clear photo of your child's face. It goes to our server over an encrypted connection and is never shown to another visitor.
Second, the photo is sent to an external AI provider's API on a paid commercial tier and comes back as an illustrated portrait of your child. Under that tier's terms the photo is not used to improve the provider's products and is not read by human reviewers.
Third, the cover and all twelve chapters are drawn from the portrait, not from the photograph. Every page starts from the same drawn face, which is why your child stays recognisably the same person from the first chapter to the last.
The likeness page shows tested cases next to the reference image each one was drawn from, including the kinds of face image generators usually get wrong. Take a look
The cover and the whole first chapter are drawn with your child in them as a free preview. You decide whether the likeness is right before you spend anything.
If the portrait does not look like your child, "Draw again" on the preview redraws it from your photo and rebuilds the cover and the first chapter from the new portrait.
The photo is kept for one reason after the portrait is drawn: "Draw again" needs it. It is deleted automatically seven days after you upload it, whether or not you use that button.
While it exists it is stored at an address that cannot be guessed from your book link, and it is read only by our own servers. It is never published, sold or shared, and it is not used to train anything. We build and train no AI models of our own.
Deleting your account deletes the photos, the portraits and the books together. If you are a grandparent or another relative, upload a photo only with the parent's or guardian's permission. That is a condition of using the service.
Every step of what happens to the photo, in the order it happens, is set out on one page you can send to the child's parent before you upload anything. Take a look

At checkout you can enter the date you need the book by. We pick the cheapest shipping method that arrives in time, and if none can, you are told before you pay. The digital edition unlocks the moment you approve it, so it never misses a date.

Yes. You upload one photo, and your child is drawn as the main character on the cover and in all twelve chapters, with their name in the story. The photo is the reference for the illustrations rather than a picture printed in the book.
One clear photo of your child's face. The portrait is drawn from it once, and every page of the book is drawn from that portrait.
It is deleted automatically seven days after you upload it. Until then it is kept only so "Draw again" can redraw the portrait if the likeness is wrong. It is never published, sold, shared or used to train anything.

Press "Draw again" on the preview. It redraws the portrait from your photo and rebuilds the cover and the first chapter, before you have paid anything.
For a printed book to a US address, approve it by Sunday, December 13, 2026. That date counts back from December 25 using our nine-to-ten-day US window, which includes printing, plus two days of margin. The digital edition unlocks straight away.
Written on 6 October 2026. Prices, the seven-day photo window and the US delivery window are the figures our checkout and storage code use on that date.
